The Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security and the Embassy of Sweden hosted a conversation with H.E. Margot Wallström, Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs, on “Sustainable Peace: The Link between Security and Development and the Role of Women in Peace Negotiations.” During her remarks, Minister Wallström announced a new partnership between Sweden and the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security on a project that will study women’s roles in peace processes in Ukraine and Myanmar.
