Event Overview
From November 4th to 6th, the Iberoamerican University of Mexico City hosted the third installment of the Conference on Peacebuilding with a Gender Perspective in collaboration with Institut Català Internacional per la Pau (ICIP). This event aimed to share women’s experiences in peacebuilding along with analysis of violent extremism, reparation for conflict victims, and masculinity.
GIWPS fellow Anna Applebaum presented her research on the categorization of gang violence as armed conflict during a panel titled “Working with Gangs.” The panel featured:
