Rachel George

Dr. Rachel George is a Research Fellow leading a range of research projects and initiatives at GIWPS. She previously worked at the Council on Foreign Relations, ODI, and as a Lecturer at Stanford University and Duke University. Her work has been published in a variety of outlets including Foreign Policy, Just Security, The Washington Quarterly, The National Interest, and in several academic books and journals. Rachel previously worked with a range of governments, international organizations, and foundations across foreign policy and global development. She holds a BA in Politics from Princeton University, an MA in Middle East Studies from Harvard University, and PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics & Political Science.
