Data from the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) survey will appear on this page as it is collected. Please refer to this page for future updates about our survey. The expected launch date of the report on the WPS survey is October 2025.
Ahead of the 25th Anniversary of the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Agenda, the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security (GIWPS) is launching a global survey of women supporting peace and security efforts in conflict-affected countries. This research is made possible through generous support from the Embassy of Denmark in Washington, D.C.
While the WPS Agenda has achieved notable progress over the last 25 years, much work remains to fully realize the rights, safety, and leadership of women in conflict-affected settings.
The goal of the survey is to hear directly from women peacebuilders about their priorities and concerns to inform and improve how the international community and other stakeholders can support and amplify their efforts. The results of the survey will inform a major report to be launched in October 2025.
