Ava Kawamura joined GIWPS as a Research Assistant in 2023, where she contributed to the development and writing of the 2023/24 WPS Index. She has since worked on a variety of projects including the Conflict Tracker and WPS Survey. She also manages and updates the WPS Resource Center, featuring the latest reports and articles on WPS-related topics. Ava is an undergraduate student at Georgetown University studying economics, sociology, and English.
