The Iranian women’s movement has been one of the most dynamic in the world as women have united in demanding their rights at enormous risk to themselves. This is the time to focus on their efforts and ensure that Iran is accountable to key global human rights frameworks. Leaders and activists on the frontlines joined together for a discussion to spotlight Iranian women’s fight for freedom and how they are peacefully mobilizing to demand change. They strategized the way forward for the Iranian women’s movement and recommended key actions for the international community to support them.
