GIWPS Research Launch
GIWPS, in partnership with the Danish Mission to the United Nations, launched the 2025 Women, Peace and Security Survey report, which analyzes the results from our global survey of nearly 3,000 women working on peace and security from over 120 countries.
This report examines the landscape of gains and gaps in the WPS Agenda, revealing women’s perceptions of what’s working, what’s not, and how the international community can better support their crucial work across all aspects of peace and security. The launch will feature a briefing of the survey findings by the lead author, Kristine Baekgaard, as well as an expert panel discussion featuring women leaders from conflict-affected contexts to share stories and illustrate the on-the-ground realities behind the data.
This event is co-hosted by the Danish Mission to the United Nations and the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security.
