GIWPS Research Showcase

GIWPS will host a special session for the Georgetown Community, featuring insights from a series of recently launched flagship research initiatives. The program will showcase the 2025/26 edition of the Women, Peace and Security Index, the inaugural Women, Peace and Security Survey, and our Commitment 2025 paper series, providing students with a unique window into how global data on women’s inclusion, justice, and security is generated and used. The conversation will explore our mixed-methods research model—including quantitative indices, qualitative case studies, and fieldwork—and highlight how GIWPS collaborates with women leaders, governments, international organizations, and academic partners to ensure meaningful policy impact. Students will have the opportunity to engage directly with the Institute’s research team, ask questions, and see how WPS data is shaping the future of peace and security practice.
