Twenty-five Years of UN Security Council Resolution 1325: Reflecting on Women, Peace & Security
Join us for a panel marking the 25th anniversary of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325, which first recognized the vital role of women in peace and security.
Together, we will reflect on how the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda has shaped global policy and practice over the past 25 years, explore the gaps in implementation that remain, and consider new opportunities for advancing gender equality and inclusive peace in a rapidly changing world.
This event is only open to Georgetown University students, staff, and faculty with a valid GU ID.
