Prash Bajracharya

Graduate Research Assistant

Prash Bajracharya is a Master of Public Policy (MPP) candidate at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy, with interests in sustainable development, climate and energy policy in emerging markets. Born and raised in Bhaktapur, a historically rich city in Nepal and having also lived in the United States, Prash brings a cross-cultural perspective to her work. She holds an undergraduate degree in Business and Economics and spent a year working for the former Ambassador of Nepal to the United States in Washington prior to Georgetown. She has also worked with the World Bank Group on private sector development and with WWF on climate finance. She is currently supporting research and programs work at Our Secure Future (OSF) and PAX Sapiens.

Prash is fluent in English, French, Nepali, Newari, Hindi, and Urdu. At GIWPS, she is focused on exploring the intersections of Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) with climate change and technology.
