Valli Pendyala

Research Assistant

Valli Pendyala is a member of the School of Foreign Service’s class of 2027. They are majoring in Regional and Comparative Studies with a focus on the Middle East and South Asia and minoring in Religion, Ethics, and World Affairs and Arabic. As a research assistant, they support the Women, Peace and Security Index projects through data analysis and data visualization. Valli’s academic interests focus on the intersection between religion and the state, particularly religious nationalism, and transnational religious relationships. They have previously interned at Interfaith Alliance, supporting the organization’s legislative advocacy work.
