Vicka Heidt
Vicka Heidt is the 2025-2026 Hillary Rodham Clinton Research Fellow. She contributes analysis to the WPS Conflict Tracker and collaborates with Dr. Jessica Anania on additional research projects. Prior to joining GIWPS, Vicka worked on national and international legal accountability at the Brookings Institution, examined military uses of artificial intelligence at the University of Cambridge, and collected legal data about prisoners of conscience at PEN America. She holds an MPhil in International Development from the University of Cambridge, where she was a Gates Cambridge Scholar. She previously graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University with dual BAs in Government and Justice and Peace Studies, and was selected as the valedictory convocation speaker. Her research and writing have appeared in academic journals and public scholarship outlets, including Just Security.
