Abstract

This consultation aimed at bringing together women from the Horn of Africa, particularly Somalia, Somaliland, Darfur, and South Sudan. In addition, civil society groups from Kenya and South Africa were also invited to discuss and learn from each other’s experiences, and to collectively move a step forward and establish links for solidarity and advocacy.
This report reflects the discussions and the cases presented throughout the three days of meeting and the recommendations discussed.
