Women, Peace and Security Conflict Tracker

Armed conflict is on the rise globally, yet too often research and coverage of these conflicts is gender-blind.
The Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Conflict Tracker addresses a critical gap by monitoring and analyzing global armed conflicts through a gender-sensitive lens. This groundbreaking tool offers unique insights into conflict dynamics, providing essential information for policymakers, advocates, and researchers.
As the first resource of its kind, the WPS Conflict Tracker advances the mandate of the WPS Agenda, established by UN Security Council Resolution 1325 in 2000. This agenda emphasizes the vital role of women in conflict resolution and peacebuilding, their protection from violence, and prioritizing their needs in relief and recovery efforts.
The WPS Conflict Tracker serves as a cross-national resource to promote women’s meaningful inclusion and drive progress on the WPS Agenda worldwide.
