30 Years after the Srebrenica Genocide

Thursday, July 10, 2025
6:00 – 9:00 pm
2021 14th St NW, Washington, DC 20009

2025 marks 30 years since the genocide in Srebrenica — the worst atrocity on European soil since World War II.

Join us at Busboys and Poets (14th & V) on July 10th from 6:00–9:00 PM for an evening of remembrance, featuring a screening of the Oscar-nominated film Quo Vadis, Aida? The program will include a brief geo-historical introduction and a post-screening reflection led by Nejra Lilic, a second-generation survivor and peace and conflict researcher.

This event is co-sponsored by the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security.
