GIWPS welcomed the Commissioner on Gender Equality of the Republic of Cyprus, Josie Christodoulou for a roundtable discussion on advancing gender equality and peacebuilding in Cyprus and beyond. The event brought together students, Ambassador Ekaterini Nassika of Greece, and Ambassador Evangelos Savva of Cyprus. The discussion stressed the need for a pointed gender focus in all ministries in Cyprus and highlighted that action plans are being drafted in each ministry to sustain a friendly environment for women and men.
