UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UN Women, Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, joined Dr. Jeni Klugman in a lively conversation on some of the leading barriers for women in a changing world of work. This was a chance to examine issues of gender equality in both the public and private spheres, to identify the major factors driving and stalling progress towards women’s economic empowerment, and to exchange ideas on effective actions for change. The audience had the opportunity to put questions to one of the most influential senior African woman leaders and global women’s advocate.
