Hillary Rodham Clinton to Honor Former Heads of State and Palestinian and Israeli Peacebuilders at Georgetown

WHAT: Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will shine a spotlight on women’s political leadership as she honors former heads of state and government from Australia, Lithuania, and Estonia. She will also highlight the critical contributions of women peacebuilders from Palestine and Israel who are working together to advance peace. For the first time, the Elevate Prize Foundation will grant $25,000 as a part of their Elevate Prize GET LOUD initiative to each of the peacebuilders in support of their joint efforts working towards a peaceful resolution.

The Hillary Rodham Clinton awards are bestowed annually by Secretary Clinton and Georgetown University’s Institute for Women, Peace and Security (GIWPS) for exceptional leadership in promoting women’s rights and creating a more peaceful and secure world for all.
