DEI Syllabus Resources

Breadcrumbs

To make it easier to include diverse scholarship in syllabi, the Institute has developed compilations of well-cited work by scholars from underrepresented communities. The summaries encompass research and writing on central international relations theories such as realism and liberalism, as well as emerging areas of interest such as transnational crime, conflict, and security. Each topical summary also presents work on the intersections of DEI-related concerns with that topic.

We seek to support academic leaders by providing resources they can rely on to diversify syllabi and re-examine course content. These are living documents; we invite you to submit a syllabus reading or source for consideration. We appreciate and draw from many existing bibliographies. More syllabus guides coming soon!
