Promising Practices for Supporting Women-led Efforts to Address Conflict and Climate Change

Breadcrumbs

This research project studies the nexus of climate, conflict, and gender with support from the Scintilla Foundation. It highlights best practices emerging from case studies in Sudan, Nepal, and Colombia, where women are crucial actors in addressing climate-related conflicts at the local level despite discriminatory barriers. By identifying gaps in research and knowledge, and highlighting women’s contributions at the grassroots level, this research strengthens the evidence-base for women’s enhanced inclusion and participation in natural resource management, climate change policy, and peacebuilding.
