Join us for the fourth panel of our five-part virtual event series on how to advance gender equality. The series draws on findings from a groundbreaking report by the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security (GIWPS) and The Rockefeller Foundation, “Beijing+25: Accelerating Progress for Women and Girls.”

Women play major roles as decision-makers and leaders, yet progress on women’s political representation has been slow across much of the world. This panel will focus on entry points and opportunities to advance women’s meaningful political participation and inclusion in peace and security efforts around the world. Read a summary of promising practices and programs based on the Beijing+25 report.
