A Women’s Guide to Security Sector Reform
Summary
This guide serves as an advisory tool for women on how to participate in and shape security sector reform (SSR) in their communities. Not meant to be exhaustive, this report acts as a starting point for women not formally trained in SSR, who nonetheless have a serious stake in the overall functionality of the security sector. The report includes three sections, “Understanding Security,” “Get Involved,” and “Tools for Action.”
