Costing and Financing 1325: Estimating the Resources Necessary to Implement Women, Peace and Security Resolutions at the National Level
Summary
This report addresses the factors that influence the financing of women, peace, and security efforts on a national level. It explores the normative framework of funding development related activities, and gendered development in particular, as well as some of the approaches that have been taken so far by UN member states in funding women, peace, and security efforts. It continues on to address NAP development, public and private funding mechanisms, cost calculation, and project planning as it relates to WPS implementation.
