Executive Summary
During the last two decades of the 20th century the feminist perspectives have also drawn attention to themselves within the International Relations theory, with special place in security studies. The paper presents the genesis of the feminist studies development, with emphasis on key authors and their contribution to recognition of the feminist approach as equal among these disciplines. The influence of gender theories to human security development, as well as the significance of the UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace, and Security, are specifically explained.
