Executive Summary

This paper surveys the background, advances, and challenges for incorporating gender into conflict analysis. Specifically, it uses the World Bank’s Conflict Analysis Framework (CAF) as a tool for comparing progress on conflict, gender, and development, and explores some of the methodological content that is a central component to any organization’s CAF.
