Summary
This paper advocates the selection of peacebuilding policies based on international resolutions, and highlights the generally widespread failure to tackle issues related to women. It summarizes how women have a strong commitment to the cessation of violence, and highlights how they are often a highly capable and motivated group of stakeholders in peace processes.
