The third NAP for the period of 2013-2016 includes a more expanded section on objectives including two additional goals with a focus on a gendered perspective of conflict prevention, during and after conflict, and the federal mainstreaming of the Women, Peace and Security agenda. In regards to disarmament, the revised NAP includes, for the first time, a committment to tighten control on small arms and fully implement the Arms Trade Treaty. "
