Political Violence and Body Language in Life Stories of Women ETA Activists
Summary
This article explores two themes of central interest to feminist scholars: violence and the body. Specifically, the author focuses on political violence and warfare and departs from current literature characterizing women as weak and vulnerable but instead looks into how female activists describe their relationship to political violence. The author focuses her analysis on the Basque Independence Movement, known as ETA.
