Executive Summary

In December 2012, the Kenyan government issued a directive (only to be later overturned by the High Court) declaring that all refugees and asylum seekers in Kenya would be relocated to refugee camps, alongside the closing of all refugee services in urban areas. Refugee women and girls were especially vulnerable, and interviews with 50 women and girls in Nairobi detail their concerns with this directive.
