The Role of Women in Peacebuilding
Summary
This paper surveys the current implementation of UNSCR 1325 and complementary instruments, and explores the international agenda for incorporating women into peace processes. In addition, it highlights the obstacles and unresolved challenges to the process of implementing UNSCR 1325. Finally, it proposes several actions to address the unresolved obstacles and challenges for individual countries.
