Summary
This report documents the current challenges faced by women human rights defenders in Mesoamerica. It explores the cultural and social factors responsible for the threats these women advocates face, as well as possible opportunities for greater cooperation and support. The report specifically addresses the main actors responsible for violence and intimidation, as well as the advocates who are at particular risk of persecution.
