Abstract

The second revised Belgium National Action Plan was launched in 2013 for the period of 2013-2016. The objectives, which remain the same in number, have changed in focus. The initial NAP indicates changing of the normative framework in the national, regional and international realm which the revised NAP focuses only on international. Additionally, in regards to disarmament, the revised NAP includes reference to women’s participation in de-mining efforts, and the continued implementation of the Arms Trade Treaty and the Convention on the Prohibition of Cluster Munitions and Anti-personnel Mine​s.
