Women’s Contributions to the Northern Ireland Peace Agreement
Abstract
Women were more involved in the 1990 Northern Ireland peace negotiations than many have previously given them credit for. This is in large part due to several women’s coalitions as well as women’s engagement with community members, leading to a stronger, more widely accepted peace agreement.
