Women’s Economic Empowerment: Navigating Enablers and Constraints
Summary
There is no automatic ‘win-win’ between gender equality and wider development outcomes. Processes of empowerment require complex, multi-layered solutions. This report identifies 10 factors that can enable (or constrain) women’s economic empowerment and outline ensuing policy recommendations.
