Executive Summary

This civil society monitoring report states that although Colombia does not have a national action plan on women, peace and security, some local Colombia organizations are trying to implement SCR 1325. The report outlines a list of indicators, such as the number of women involved in the government and the peace process, and concludes that women’s participation at all levels of decision-making was low, there is feminist dissent and success experienced by women in the legislative and regulatory sectors.
